Easter goes Select at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club in New York!
Today our AFVX DAE GCHB CH Kingdom’s He Is Risen CAA FCAT FITB TC OFA Excellent H/E, Easter was awarded Select under Ms. Minna-Liisa Koltes!
Just being granted an opportunity to exhibit a Kingdom’s dog along side the absolute best of the best in the German Shepherd all breed ring is an incredible honor in and of itself. Placing Select has simply left me humbled and with deep gratitude.
I would like to thank all the supporters of Team Easter, and all of our Kingdom family and friends cheering us on back at home. Also to the many friends Easter quickly met in the grooming tent, that followed her to ring 4 to watch, how great is was for you to share in this moment.
To my daughter Heather, I was in complete awe of all you have accomplished with Easter today! The past 4 1/2 years you have trained, worked, lost, won, graciously accepted direction from peers and judges, and have never given up. All of this has ultimately earned you the opportunity of this amazing achievement today!
To Marilyn and Hilary, what can I say? Other than we had a special bond from day one, and when decision was made to offer you my yellow collar pick of the litter, I knew God had a very special plan. Only in time was it revealed, but it certainly has been an amazing ride. Thank you for your friendship, loyalty, support and trust in me for guiding Team Easter. Thank you for allowing Heather to present this one and only very special girl. Our mutual mother daughter duo of our team is one I hold near and dear to my heart.
Lastly, to my Lord and Savior. You placed in my heart my passion for the GSD. Little did I know in 2006, what you had in store. I pray that I honor you always in all I do and may you continue to receive all the glory and praise with all my Kingdom ministry. I don’t know who, but you do, someone needed to hear today “He Is Risen”. This is a celebration beyond the Easter season and even our Easter’s accomplishment today. Thank you for blessing us and giving us the ability to honor you in return.
