What a fantastic time in Perry, GA!

We headed in to this show weekend knowing it would be a “NEW” first for us as our daughter Heather would be leaving following Thursday’s show. Nick planned a weekend with some friends at the beach to celebrate their recent surprise engagement. We were very excited for her to have this special time away, but also knew it would be a bit different not having her in the show ring with our dogs.

But as always, Heather’s love for Kingdom and our dogs, she arranged last minute help with handling the dogs so we could show the entire weekend and not need to leave. And this is what completely blows my mind…the help was not only there for us but was absolutely amazing. Hands on deck ready to assist and make the experience for our dogs positive. We work hard as a family to travel, exhibit and present our dogs to the fancy because we love the GSD breed, and to see the kindness and suppprt from others come on board to help is so humbling.

I was able to make my way down to Perry over the weekend and I want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Crissy Froyd, Ash Oldfield, Blake Hansen, and our newest friend Arvind De Braganca! Little did we know how the weekend would evolve and I cannot thank you all enough for your professionalism, teamwork and support for our dogs. I must also mention the sportsmanship and positive ring support from the competitiors! How refreshing is was to enjoy the dogs showing, win or loose, and walk away with a congratulations to the other and even a dinner at The Swanson! Thank you Frank and Kris Fasano for this experience!

On Thursday GCH CH Kingdom’s Eternal Life TC, Zoe was awarded BOB under Judge Larry Abbott! On Friday, there was no love for Kingdom, but still had a great time showing the dogs and spending time with GSD friends. On Saturday we were fortunate to have a whirlwind of a day as judge Judith Brown awarded our Kingdom’s Towering Rock, Armor; WD and BOW from the 9 to 12 puppy class, congratulations to Chevy Smith and Samantha Kalvoda! Our Kingdom’s Every Knee Will Bow, Nala, was WB for her very first point, congratulations Lauren Poovey! Then Zoe and Arvind earned BOB and went on to a beautiful Group 3 under esteemed Judge James Moses. Sunday, did not disappoint either. Under Judge Jon Cole, Kingdom’s Titanium Shield was WD BOW from the 9 to 12 puppy class, congratulations Gabe Baird and Madison Kanawada! Team Zoe earned another BOB!! Did not stop there as Arvind and Zoe took home another Group 3 placement under Judith Brown. To say we are absolutely elated doesn’t come close!! Huge sincere appreciation again to Arvind De Braganca for presenting Kingdom’s current special Zoe so beautifully, elegantly guiding her to her wins this weekend.

Lastly, our Kingdom’s Fear Nothing, Justice, garnered a couple reserves in conformation and also made his way over to the performance arena. Participating in FastCat for the first time and running 6 runs, Justice is now close to earning his BCAT title! Justice also earned the Personal Best award from Speed Dog coursing for his achievement in their coursing trials! So proud this boy can handle both the show and performance arena and look forward to seeing what Justice does next! Congratulations Tim amd Josefa Hart!

This weekend was truly a time of many “firsts”

Thank you Lord for the Blessings
